Kumar S. Raja, Esq. has been a member of the California State Bar since 2002.

Mr. Raja received his undergraduate education from the University of California, Los Angeles (Provost's Honor List), where he majored in Economics and wrote for UCLA's school newspaper, the Daily Bruin.  He received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 2002, where he was a Scott Moot Court Participant.   During law school, Mr. Raja successfully completed externships at the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, where he worked for the Honorable Kathleen March.

Prior to joining the TINNELLY LAW GROUP, Mr. Raja assisted with the representation of several large master-planned common interest developments throughout Los Angeles, Riverside and Orange Counties.  During the scope of that representation, Mr. Raja provided general counsel on a wide array of litigation and transactional matters.  In one of those litigation matters, he successfully represented a common interest development in an action that resulted in a published decision before the California Court of Appeal (Healy v. Tuscany Hills Landscape and Recreation Corporation (2006) 137 Cal.App.4th 1).

Mr. Raja's extensive litigation experience in the courtroom has given him the expertise to counsel the firm's clients in the boardroom with respect to the long-term benefits and costs associated with Board actions. He has been an invited guest lecturer at multiple continuing education seminars involving common interest developments and condominium formation.
